Overview #
steghide hides a file inside an image or audio file. The data is spread through the file so the picture or sound still looks and plays the same. A passphrase can protect the hidden data.
It supports JPEG, BMP, WAV and AU files. In CTF challenges it often comes up as the tool used to hide a flag.

steghide embed -cf cover.jpg -ef secret.txt
