Overview #
Ghidra is a software reverse engineering framework released by the NSA as open source. It loads compiled programs and lets you read them as assembly, or as C-like code through its decompiler.
- Disassembler: shows the machine instructions of a binary.
- Decompiler: turns functions back into readable C-style pseudocode.
- Scripting: automate analysis with Java or Python.
Ghidra is free and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. It is a good first reverse engineering tool for CTF binaries and crackmes.
